Here at Artisan Coffee Group we like to think big and re-imagine what coffee can be.
Our goal is to make the coffee roasting experience easier for the client, resulting in higher quality and more consistent coffee for the consumer.
Time to rid the coffee industry of unintuitive controls that result in inconsistent outcomes.
Here is one of our latest projects that truly allowed our creativity to flow. This is a new Jabez Burns 23R ACO with our modifications. Usually commercial roasters (Over 120kg batch) have many drawbacks when trying to control the profile. The modifications we implemented allowed our client great flexibility in producing the final profile.
Controls Designed by a Roaster.... For Roasters
Artisan Roasting Technology (ART) provides the controls and integration for roasting coffee that “Hits The Mark” every time. The design and function come from decades of experience with all the variables that produce consistent, quality coffee being delivered to your customers. Applying technology to a craft that requires skilled human interaction, is an important distinction to incorporate into the design and functionality of controls. Our team incorporated a unique, unmatched understanding of the mechanics of coffee roasters, its safe operation with personnel, workflow processes, interaction with roast development and the confirmation in the cup. It preserves important human skills that would be lost if we allowed controls to do it all for us, while utilizing features to perform tasks that controls do better than humans. Now your personnel can progress from button-pushers to roastmeisters.
The ART control system has expansion & integration capabilities in both function & feature, improving the efficiency for processes that increase the quality of your roasted coffee. Integration of Roastmaster, which visually assists your Roaster Operators in making adjustments, while roasting in ever-changing environmental conditions and OpenCup, with its “In the Cup” confirmation, will Quantify “Hitting The Mark”.
