THIS IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND IF YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS
WITH ARTISAN COFFEE GROUP & MARTY
-
Carefully read the following, it has legal contract implications.
We are a safety minded company and have been manufacturing & installing, roasters & afterburners for over 40 years. Marty runs a UL licensed shop, ran a high pressure gas company and was a general contractor. There is nothing regarding coffee roasting plants Marty has not seen already.
You will need to insure that all permits, contractor work, etc. are done to our seller specifications. This includes complying with any air quality permits & regulations for your jurisdiction. If needed, you will also need to get local installers that understand the ducting requirements for afterburners. For ducting you will need hi-temp, positive pressure, not galvanized ducting & adhere to NFPA 211. NFPA 211 is a fire safety standard to ensure safe removal of flue gases through venting systems. The afterburner will be producing 1,400 F+ temperatures.
Grounds for Termination: If we arrive at the job site and the client has incomplete, unsafe and/or out of spec gas, electric and ducting to connect the equipment to, (even though they were given safe & correct specs, and confirmed installation as such, before we arrived), the client has violated contract terms, losing their warranty, and product guarantees. They will be left with a non-warrantied & non-commissioned roasting system.
